From the therapist: I believe therapy is most beneficial to a client when tailored to their individual needs and strengths, such as using humor or individual skill sets.  As a therapist, it is crucial to be empathetic, understanding, and non judgemental. I partake in an eclectic therapeutic style, drawing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, while using an attachment and trauma focused lens. I am very open to working with any demographic, as I also feel a crucial piece of the therapy process is the rapport and fit between a therapist and client, but do love to work with young adults, teens, and children especially. I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and also have a focus on women's and relationship issues. If you feel like I might be a good fit for you, I would love to meet and discuss your needs and goals for the therapeutic process!
