Lori Tagger

Dr. Tagger has been in practice for over 20 years and has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, a hospital and several universities. She has extensive training in working with women's issues, Eating Disorders and trauma/PTSD and is trained in the use of EMDR. She has experience with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual abuse/assault, divorce and self-esteem issues. In addition to individual therapy, Dr. Tagger provides psychological assessments of ADHD, Learning Disabilities and other forms of evaluations. 


Dr. Tagger has taught at the university level for almost 20 years in the areas of Eating Disorders, Ethics, the practice of therapy, Supervision, Psychopathology and Diagnosis. She also co-authored a book chapter on the Treatment of Eating Disorders. Dr. Tagger has a therapy dog named Bleu. Golden Retrievers are loving, compassionate and playful and have the perfect temperament for this work. Bleu helps clients open up to the therapeutic process and creates a welcoming, safe (and at times, playful) atmosphere.
