My philosophy to therapy is that each person has the capability to work through the obstacles presented in life, but sometimes we need help uncovering our abilities and applying them. My treatment approach is individually tailored to the uniqueness of each client and through productive conversations we can move toward a better understanding of who you are in this world and how to manage the obstacles of life. My experience has been diverse in regards to the individuals and mental health issues I have treated.

I specialize in addiction treatment and worked in the field of substance abuse as a counselor since 2015. I was an intern with Community Mental Health (CEI) for several years specifically working with addiction and trauma. I have now worked in private practice since June of 2019 focusing on helping adults with issues of anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, trauma and addiction. I use a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, such as, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Experiential Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Somatic and Person-Centered approaches. I am also a lover of learning and will always continue to add to my practice so I may better serve my clients.
