Sylvia Orchid Light, LMSW
Sylvia Orchid Light, LMSW, is a Licensed Master of Social Work who received her MSW from Michigan State University. She helps individuals in transitions, including those of school, marriage, raising children, divorce, partner loss, career changes, and retirement. Transitions may be accompanied with mixed feelings, anxiety, depression which may lead to feelings of overwhelm and exhaustion. Teaming up with her clients, she assists and supports them in removing barriers and opening possibilities for a brighter future, placing them fully empowered in the lives they choose to live. By building on their positive changes, no matter the size, clients can sit comfortably in the driver’s seat and better direct their future.
Sylvia specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness,
resilience, meditation, and relaxation techniques with a goal of connecting the client to quiet confidence, improved self-esteem, clarity, and forward motion.
She integrates change, resilience, hope, mindfulness, and empowerment. She is also a student of Esoteric Healing.
Sylvia is open to working with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds.
